To those who will be visiting South Africa in 2010

I welcome you all in advance. All I can say is enjoy your stay and feel free to explore our great rainbow nation.

South Africa has 11 official languages. But you will find that the popular way of saying hello is 'Heita' or 'Hola' in most people.

When you are in township try to visit 'Car Wash' spots where you will try local 'pap and vleis' and 'kota' which is very popular. It is also a good idea to spend a night in towships and experience the life once enjoyed by great Nelson Mandela

About-The-Writer

I am happy that I got to have my own blog where I have to talk about issues of health, well just basic things like washing your hands, I mean you do not have to be a doctor to know that.

I am a man from South Africa and have my Wife, three little kids and still one to arrive soon, congratulations to me! I also have a dog called RJ. My kids named him RJ. I do not know what RJ means. Before we had Akina, a female dog. Unfortunately she died of poison while I was away in Zambia.
